On Saturday Oct 5th, 2024. Joel W Menter of Bethany IL, beloved husband and father passed away with family by his side. He was 69 years old born on April 28th, 1955 in Sanford, Maine. He was the beloved son of George W Menter and Joyce Magee Menter and the loving husband to Rebeka Owens Menter.Joel dedicated his life serving the community as the Retired Fire Chief of MasonCounty Fire District #4 in Washington. He enjoyed many passions in life such as fishing, gaming, and food, but the most important to him was family. He is survived by his wife Rebeka Menter, his mother Joyce Magee Menter , his children, Jennifer/Bryan Fruchtl of Bethany, IL, Leslie/Tony Mahon of Decatur, IL, Josh/Gretchen Hanshew of Lake Tapps, WA, Tina/Burt Stevens of Shelton, WA, Shawna Menter of Shelton, WA, along
with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joel will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family.
