John Robert Eytchison, 40, of Moweaqua, IL., passed away at Decatur Memorial Hospital while surrounded by his family. Central Cremation Center assisted the family.

He was born October 8, 1983, in Decatur, and was the son of Patrick Eytchison and Marlene Eytchison Craig.

He is survived by his first love, his son, Robert, his mother Marlene Craig, stepfather John Craig, sisters Julie (Denny) Morris, Jennifer (Adam) Hergert, both of Rochester, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father John Eytchison.

He loved crappie fishing, playing his guitar, hanging with his buddies and playing with Frank, his cat. John will give new hope for others with the Gift of Hope donation.

Come and join the family for a celebration of his life at First Baptist Church in Moweaqua on Saturday, January 20th from 12-2pm.

Burial will be held later at West Side Cemetery.
