Joseph Charles Fernandez, 85, a beloved husband and father, entered his heavenly home on January 2, 2025.

Born December 29, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Angelo and Mabel Fernandez. Joseph married the love of his life, Donna Dianne, on May 12th, 1982, in St. Louis. Together, they shared a life filled with love and family. He was a devoted father to Amy, Emily, and Michael and a proud grandfather to Ethan, Cayden, Zane, Jessa, Gavin, and Amais.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Donna Dianne Fernandez, children, Amy (Ivan) Gosnell of Decatur, IL, Emily Fernandez of Intervale, NH, and Michael (Rebecca) Fernandez of St. Peters, MO; grandchildren, Ethan Douglas, Cayden Douglas, Jessa Douglas, Gavin Douglas, Zane Fernandez and Amais Fernandez and his siblings, Nona Salas and Ned Fernandez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Mabel Fernandez, and his brother David Fernandez.

Visitation for Joseph Fernandez will begin at 10 am on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Maranatha Assembly of God, 555 W. Imboden Dr. Decatur, IL 62521. Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 am.
