Juliana Bredar, 64 of Decatur passed away June 6, 2024, at her residence.

Juli had a profound love for the great outdoors and the beauty of nature. She was often found hiking, fishing, camping, and bird watching, cherishing every moment spent in the wilderness. Juli and her beloved husband, Mark, recently celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary, marking a lifetime of joy and companionship. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, enjoyed exhilarating motorcycle rides, and treasured time with their three adored grandchildren.

Juli was deeply loved by her family and friends. She leaves behind cherished memories as a devoted mother, doting grandmother known as Maw Maw, and a beloved sister. Juli had a unique gift for bringing joy to everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Our family plans to honor Juli’s memory with a celebration of life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that donations be made in Juli’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and cancer research initiatives.
