In Loving Memory of Julia (Julie) Phillips-Bruns

Julia Lean Phillips (Bruns); 69 of Maroa, IL. passed away in her home with her daughter Tracy Leann by her side on 04/24/2023 @ 7:30a.
Julie was born on March 5th, 1954, in Decatur, IL. Julie was born the daughter of Donald Ray Bruns and Virginia Darlene Woollen. Julie worked for Sam’s Club in Decatur, IL for 23 years where she retired. Julie loved her family dearly and was always there to help anyone in need.
Surviving are her 2 children, Bradley Wayne Bagley and Tracy Leann Stewart (Bagley), her four siblings; Connie Roberts, Richard Bruns, Mark Bruns and Timothy Bruns; Six grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Austin Tucker, Blake Bagley, Breana Bagley, Mason Stewart, Jayce Stewart and Joslin Stewart; one special niece and great niece, Gina Tomlinson and Harley Ferry; and many close friends, especially Linda Harvey.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her four-legged best friend, Cinders Phillips.
A Celebration of life in honor of Julie’s legacy will be held at Life Foursquare Church @ 2954 W. Ash, Decatur, IL 62526 on May 5th, 2023. Visitation will be from 5p-6:30p with a special service at 6:30p. A Celebration of Life potluck will be held following the service. All are welcome to join.
