Kathy and I worked together at St. Mary's ER for many yrs. As supervising RN, she was a stickler for protocol and taught me much as a newby to that world. I lost track after several yrs. But was not surprised by her mission to continue to serve others. She will be remembered by her colleagues and those whose lives she touched.

Wade,MaryKay, Vickie, and Louann sorry for your loss. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. I saw her when Charlene her and I went to the State Fair. in Aug. She was in pain then but she would keep going despite her health issues. My prayers to all the family.

Kathy was a dear and loving friend to my mother. They worked closely on the Piatt County Fair Board together. Kathy also worked at DMH, where I saw her often. She was so caring and loving to everyone, meaning staff and patients. Everyone that worked with her knew that she was strict on herself and she wanted everything to run accordingly and correct! She strived to always want what was best for her patients. I would see her often buzz by on her golf cart, with hair blowing. That girl was always on a mission. She stayed busy after she retired and felt like getting out. She will be missed by so many. My condolences to her son, sisters, and her nieces and nephews. So very sorry for your loss.
