Lois M. “Tootsie” Finney, age 76, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away September 20, 2022 in her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was a beloved mother, sister, and aunt. She was born on November 2, 1945 in Decatur, IL, daughter of the late Robert and Nannie (Sexton) Koger. She graduated from Warrensburg High School and cosmetology school. She married Jack Finney on July 26, 1964 in Decatur, Illinois, and they had two daughters. She worked as a hairdresser for most of her life. Lois was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. In her spare time, Lois enjoyed volunteering, gardening, doing yard work and home projects, playing slots with her sisters, and hosting family gatherings. She was always there to help a friend or a family member in need, putting their needs above her own.

Lois is survived by her daughters Lori Wilk and Kris Finney; grandsons Joshua and Ethan Wilk; granddog Quinn; sisters-in-law Connie Koger, Joyce Koger, and Janet Frankowiak and her husband Greg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 42 years; five brothers; and four sisters. Obituary written by family members.
