Lola Marie Rogers, 86 of Sullivan (formerly of Mattoon) passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Eastview nursing home in Sullivan.  Lola was born to Jamesa Delbert Jenkins and Edna Mae Tanner Jenkins on January 19, 1937.  She married Jerald Montague in 1955, later marrying Duane Rogers in 1979.  Lola is survived by her three daughters, Pam Flick, Connie Wiles, husband Leroy, and Romona Chaney, husband Steve. One sister, Maxine (Micky) Garner and her beloved dog Skooter.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Danny Flick, Andy Wiles, Salli Drew, Casey Smith, Tyler Chaney, Crystal Montague, and several great grandchildren., She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Montague, and second husband, Duane Rogers, two sons, Jerry Montague Jr., Frank Montague, one sister, Donna Montague, three brothers, James Jenkins, Paul Jenkins and Chuck Jenkins, and her parents, James D Jenkins and Edna M Jenkins.

Lola was a homemaker; she loved to cook and work outside in her flowers.  She dearly loved her dog, Skooter.  Celebration of life will be held at a later date with private graveside services at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice in Mattoon.
