M. Catherine (Eaton) Weatherford passed away on February 5, 2023, in her home with her family by her
side.

Catherine was born on August 28, 1933, in Mattoon to Wiley Edward and Jemima Katherine
Brosam Eaton.

She attended Warrensburg school, worked at F W Means and later became an LPN and worked at St.
Mary’s Hospital.

She was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God. She married Charles D. Weatherford on February 18,
1953. He preceded her in death.

Catherine leaves behind her children: Danny (Lura) Weatherford, Chuck (Ginger) Weatherford, Cathy
Spain, Sandy (Darin) Barnes. Grandchildren: Andrew (Josie) Weatherford, Evan (Danielle) Weatherford,
Kendra (Chris) Hubbard, Chad (Lea) Weatherford, Amber (Michael) Baker, Tyler Barnes, Tori Barnes.
Great-grandchildren: Charlotte and Abby Weatherford, Eli and Camden Weatherford, Lily and Charli
Hubbard, Mike (Jenny) Baker, Lyric Barnes. Great-great grandchildren- Maxine Baker and Dominik
Scoggins.

Catherine also leaves a long time and dear friend, Marita Camp. Catherine was preceded in death by her
six siblings. Private family services will be at a later date. Burial will be along with her husband’s remains
at Camp Butler.

Charles D. Weatherford was born July 15, 1933, in Decatur, Son of John T. and Ruth Weatherford, He
served in the Navy on the USS Henley-762 and was a 47 year member of the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers. He passed away on February 8, 2011.
