Marjorie Ann Rhode, Margie, age 70 of 519 Michael Lane, Chenoa , IL passed away on October
19, 2022 in her home surrounded by her children.

She was born to Dempster and Bennie Wilson on August 12, 1952. After graduating from Gibson
City High School in 1971, Margie chased her dreams to become a Nurse. She received her Associates in
Science in 1988 then ultimately her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1993 from the University of Illinois.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Margie. She loved to read, quilt, and craft. She
loved the outdoors and traveling. The ocean was by far her favorite place to visit. Margie was proud of
her 4 children and loved to spend time with them and her grandchildren.
Margie preceded the death of her parents Dempster and Bennie Wilson, her brothers Donald
and Ronald Wilson and beloved son, Bengie.

Surviving Margie are her 4 children, Tobie (Stephanie) Vaughn of Decatur, Aimee (Chad) Johnson
of Colfax, Tami Fort of Chenoa, and Andy (Cindy) Vaughn of Melvin. A sister survives Betty Hawn of
Urbana.

Grandchildren include Ashleigh, Hannah and Miranda Vaughn, of Gibson City. Logan, Baillee,
Celbee, and Jersee Johnson, of Colfax, Abby, Alex, and Ashton Fort, of Bloomington, and Emily and
Landen Vaughn, of Melvin.

Great grandchildren Bryson, Rhyatt, Baustin, and Beau.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Margie touched are invited to attend a Celebration of
Life on October 29, 2022 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10:00am until time of service at the Chenoa Baptist Church, 513 Lincoln Street, Chenoa, IL. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be
made to the family or the American Liver Foundation.
