We officially said goodbye to our mother Marla Troyer (Hawks) on December 29, 2024. She generously gifted her liver to save a man from Illinois through Gift of Hope. She had a beautiful soul that has reunited with her mother Vera Hawks, father William Hawks and sister Shelley Miller. She had a gentle heart that was just too big to keep on the earth any longer. She loved her children, Howard Tisdale, Michelle Eaton and Tabatha Tisdale dearly and would have stayed longer if she could, but God needed her more and that is ok. She will be deeply missed by her husband Dennis Troyer and many more. We will celebrate her life this spring at a date to be determined. We love you Marla Troyer and hope that you will keep an eye on us while you hang out in that big castle in the sky.

Marla was a voracious reader who utilized her local libraries to the fullest. She would often complete entire series of books during the extreme temperature months. She absolutely adored Janet Evanovich books. In honor of her passion for reading the family is raising funds to place a plaque at her local libraries.
