Martin Keith Pierson, 67, of Girard, Illinois, went to be with Jesus on October 23, 2024. Marty was born on August 18, 1957, in Springfield, Illinois, and he lived a life full of creativity and BIG dreams.

Marty was known for having a hammer in his hand and a cowboy hat on his head. He was a skilled craftsman, an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and a Christian man who loved the Lord. Although, his greatest achievement was being a proud and devoted Papa to Brynna, Evie, Sophia, Wyatt, Alaska, Athena, Hunter.

Marty is survived by his four children, Nick (Alicia) Pierson of Athens, IL; Hope (Doug) McClure of Denton, TX; Angel Pierson of Gillespie, IL; Taylor Pierson of Girard, IL; his seven grandchildren; his father, Harold Pierson of Girard, IL; his three siblings, Barb (Doug) Hardin of Chatham, IL; Randy (Sharon) Pierson of Girard, IL; Brad (Leslie) Pierson of Newark, TX; along with countless family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Pierson; his brother and sister in law, Marvin and Barb Pierson.

Martin Keith Pierson will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
