Mary Anne Sanders 73, of Maroa, Illinois, passed away on May 21, 2026.

She was born in Bloomington, Illinois on February 4, 1953.

Mary graduated from Maroa Forsyth High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Millikin University.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Modena Sanders, brothers Blair and Joe, and sisters Dona Imig and Joan Miller.

Mary Anne is survived by her life partner Tom Shockey, her sister Jane Sanders, as well as numerous other family members.

Her wishes include cremation and a private ceremony at a later date.
