Born on November 14, 1965, in Streator, IL., Melissa was the beloved daughter of Jack and Sandy Babey. She grew up in South Bend, IN., and Champaign, IL. She graduated from Champaign Centennial in 1984. She worked as a bookkeeper for County Market for 30 years, and most recently she worked for Black and Company.

She married Rod Williams on July 14, 1990, in a ceremony in her parents’ backyard.

She enjoyed spending time with her family on outdoor excursions. Melissa loved animals, especially cats and birds.

She is survived by her mother Sandra Babey, brother Richard Babey, husband Rod Williams, sons Kyle Williams and Jonathon William. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Babey.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
