Pamela June Berlin 77 of Decatur Il., formally of Catlin Illinois went to be with our Lord at 6:25pm on
September 9, 2025 at Fairhavens Senior living center in Decatur. This was following a long illness.
Pam was born in Danville Illinois to Billy Senior Tinder and Caroline June Bahls Tinder on April
24,1944. Pam then married Michael E Berlin Sr. on July 17, 1967 at the Catlin United Methodist church,
he survives. Also surviving are a son Michael E (Stacy) Berlin and a daughter Tamara L ( Greg) Dow.
Grandsons Geoffrey (Kimberly) Berlin, Payton (Stefanie) Berlin, Skyler Morgan, Justin Morgan and
Klayton Wood. Granddaughters Laina Williams, Courtney Williams, Alexis (Bradley) Hardcastle, and
Serenity Morgan.
Great Grandsons Brayden Ray and Zakarii Walker. Great Grandaughters Alora Berlin, Evelynne Ruff
and a baby girl on the way.
She is also survived by two sisters Penny Cope and Paula (Keith) Roark and many nieces and nephews.
Pam was prededed in death by her parents, and infant sister, Susan, her brother BIlly Junior Tinder and
a nephew Jeremy Tinder.
Pam loved to help people. she voluntered at many different food banks, thrift stores and gave blood
regularly to the Red Cross. She was a girl scout leader for many years even serving on the council
board. She was a boy scout leader also. She was always in the stands when her kids were playing to
cheer on the whole team. Pam loved to garden and do crafts. Pam did everything from ceramics to
putting a craft together from scratch for which she had a knack. Pam was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
