Ramon (Ray) Thomas, 85, of Moweaqua (formerly of Pana), passed away on January 29, 2025, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Ramon was born June 4, 1939, the son of Gerald and Freda Thomas of Pana. he married Teresa Kolesar on June 6, 1959.

Ramon was employed at Tryco Manufacturing, Jenner Sales and Richland Sales. He loved animals, birds and spending time with friends and family. Ramon was a devoted husband and proud father to his children. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife Teresa, son Mark (Robin) Thomas of Moweaqua, grandchildren Blake Thomas, Luke Besser, Kelsey Thompson, Kylie DeSantiago, Casey Glandon, Ben Thomas, Derrick Thomas, Alaina Fox, Elliot Thomas as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Ramon was proceeded in death by both of his parents, his sister and son Michael Thomas.

Ramon is gone from our sight and touch but never from our hearts.
