Rayford Darrell Albright Sr. Born on July 10, 1959, in Rossville, TN, to the late Raymond Albright Sr. and Savannah (Taylor) Albright.
Rayford accepted Christ at an early age at Stinson MCE Church. God called him home on Sunday, August 21, 2022, in Decatur, IL, at the age of 63.
Rayford was a retired veteran who loved his family and grandchildren. He was loving, caring, and just an all-around sweetheart. To know him was to love him. His favorite pastimes were listening to Slow Jams, R&B music, visiting family and friends, and playing with his grandchildren.
Rayford was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Savannah Albright, grandparents, John R. and Lue Dora Taylor, sister, Vernita Ann Albright, and his son, Rayford Albright Jr.
Rayford leaves to cherish his memory: his special companion Brenda (Bird) Campbell Decatur, IL; two daughters: Mariah Albright (Keith Vaughn) of Decatur, IL. and Monique Ragland of Memphis, TN; one brother: Raymond Sr. (Tina) Albright of Memphis, TN; one sister: Bobbie Albright of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren: Izaliyah Albright, Ishayleah Albright, Kei’Ryah Vaughn, Rayford Albright III, Kayla Clark, Sha’Kera Ragland, Raylin Albright, and Torayon Wilson; two great-grandchildren: Jayce Albright and Troy Stephenson III; two nieces: Alicia Albright and Vanna (Johnel) Anderson; two nephews: Raymond (Porsha) Albright Jr. and Brandon (Alesha) Albright; six great nieces: U’nica Albright, McKenzie Rawls, Janelle Anderson, Raelynn Albright, Raegan Albright, and Aniaya Albright; two great nephews: Tyler Albright and Jalen Anderson; three uncles: Oscar (Pearlie) Taylor of Chicago, IL, Sammie Parks of Memphis, TN, and Monrow (Cynthia) Albright-Mabon of Riverside, CA; one aunt: Willie Rene Drake of Chicago, IL, and a host of cousins and friends.
