Richard William Eirhart Sr. passed away June 7th of 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. He was born to James Russell Eirhart and Freda Ethel Shreve Eirhart on November 6th 1936 in Marshall, Illinois. He is proceeded in death by his parents and siblings, Russel James Eirhart, Theodore Eirhart, Jeannene Eirhart-Henkleman and Charmaine Eirhart Finney. He lived in several states during his life but especially enjoyed his time in the southwest. He was fond of quiet time fishing, he was also an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for those he loved. He is survived by his two children, Shannon Eirhart (50) and Richard Eirhart Jr. (42), his two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, in addition to many nephews, nieces and cousins.
