Richard “Dick” Pitchford, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2022. Dick was
born to Everett and Maxine Jennings Pitchford on February 23, 1946 in Springfield Illinois.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kim (Workman) Pitchford. He is lovingly
remembered by his children: Christina (Curtis) Love, Jennifer (Darrell) Wheat, Jennifer (Bob)
Nix, Lindsey (Nate) Prather, Brett Clark, and good friend Kevin (Wendy) Koke. Grandchildren
include: Brady Watson; Emily, Caleb, and Abbey Nix; Mason Smith; Willow Prather; Harper
and Knox Clark. Great grandchildren: Rai and Amarri Watson. Siblings: Bob (Sue), Vi, and
Dirley Pitchford. Plus, many nieces and nephews. He was also absolutely loved and adored by
ALL of Kim’s family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2 nd from 10-11:30 at Southside Christian Church in
Springfield Illinois, with a Celebration of Life Service and lunch immediately following.
