Robert M. Cassidy (89), born on December 25, 1932, a Korean war veteran and a retired detective from the Chicago Police Department, departed this life on March 25, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, Illinois.

Bob’s wife, three children, spouses, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren mourn Bob’s departure into Eternity. Bob’s nieces and nephews from his sister and husband’s side and nieces and nephews from his late brother’s side fondly remember Uncle Bob. His long-time partner at the Chicago Police Department grieves over the loss of his best friend.

Honoring Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
