If you knew Bob, you knew what a terrific person he was. You see, I knew him very well, he was my brother. Great son, dad, brother and most loyal friend a person could ask for. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Our hearts are broken. Rest peacfully sweet brother. Until we are together again.❤️❤️

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Northway's passing. I loved seeing his wonderful barn pictures on Facebook. He will surely be missed by the folks at Illinois Old Barn Images And More.

I never knew Robert, except for his photographs posted on Facebook. He had a love of barns and other old farm buildings. His photos were calendar worthy, always well composed with sharp detail. He was always appreciative of comments. I often suggested he publish them. Perhaps his family will take on that task as a lasting memorial to him. He will be missed by all his Facebook friends!

What a wonderful friend, man, and so talented. We are so sorry to hear this news. Bob was always ready to buy anytype of fundraiser from my 3 kids, he always kept soda stock in bottles for when we all visited. He always showed up when we needed help. Bob I hope you are not RIP, I hope you are partying, having a great time. I hope you are see pictures that are more beautiful than the pictures you took ( he was so talented and such a great photographer).. Miss your smile already. You were there for my husband when he needed someone in his life. You, Jamie, Rick, Hal, Wayne, and I am sure missing someone but you were part of our family. Love you buddy, you were a one of a kind with a heart full of gold. Tinker
