Robert L. Timmons, 70 years old lost his battle with cancer on January 13,2023 at DMH, with his daughters by his side.

Born June 19,1952, to John and Marie Timmons.

“Bob”, a U.S. Army SP4, S2 Security Intelligience Clerk, was a avid reader especially King,Koonce, and Patterson, He loved Halloween and anything related to it, ghouls,ghost,werewolves, and the aliens.

He coached his daughters and many other neighbor children in Tball, he co founded the Niantic Teen Center, was a member of the Niantic Park district with his beloved wife Joanna,

Bob was a 20 plus year employee at Borden Chemical Plant, as well as delivering the Herald & Review to Illiopolis residents, he worked for the Village of Illiopolis his last few years.

Bob loved his flower beds ,his Honda Goldwing, his truck lil Blue, and his grandkids.

He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother Marie, sister kaye, and brother jack.

Services will be Wednesday January 25,2023 @ 2pm Camp Butler National Cemetary with full Military Honors

Dad was a Receipiant of National Defense Service award, and AFEM -Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, serving the Vietnam Era in Korea, Florida, and Texas.

He is proceeded in death by his father John, brother Jim, and loving wife of 11 years Joanna, grandson Zion, several nieces and nephews.
