Rose Ann Knapp 69, of Decatur, IL passed away on February 28, 2023 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born on February 28, 1954 daughter of Fred and Mary Knapp. Memorial services in her honor will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Lampstand Presbyterian Church, 655 S. Airport road, Decatur.
She spent her life working at various jobs until she found her true calling, taking care of people with dignity and respect in their later years.
She leaves to cherish fond memories two daughters, Carol Knapp, and Kelly Hines; two sons, Moses Knapp, and Dale Smith; Brothers, Frank Knapp, and Fred (Bud) Knapp; sister, Mary Miller; Grandchildren, Demarco Knapp, Dominique Knapp, Wesley Witherspoon, Diamond Knapp, Shaina Schwartz, Kenya Knapp, Trinity Knapp, Mylan Knapp, Rylan Knapp, Denise Smith, and Kenneth Smith. In addition she had many ‘bonus’ children, and grandchildren, and many friends. Rose was an outgoing, friendly person who was loved and respected by too many people to name. Just know that you all are greatly appreciated.
