Sandra Ann Moore passed away peacefully with her family by her side on
February 13, 2022. Sandi was born on December 9, 1947, to John L. Moore Sr. and
Grace M. Moore (Beckett). She was preceded in death by both parents, siblings
Gloria Stanley, Vicki Williamson, John L. Moore Jr. and Danny Moore, her son
Roger D. Giles Jr and one granddaughter, Alicia S. Moore. Surviving are three
daughters, Angie Holliger (Giles), Shelli Giles and Lori Giles, 7 grandchildren and 5
great grandchildren. All who meant the world to her.

Sandi dedicated her life to caring for others. She was the best caregiver to her
family, holding the role of matriarch, but her passion was her career taking care of
individuals with disabilities. Her career spanned over 40 years, starting at Lincoln
Developmental Center. She worked at Lincoln House Group Home for many years
before retiring at Logan Mason Rehabilitation Center. This was not just a career
to her; she loved the people she cared for as if they were her own family. Some
even became part of the family, attending family functions and holidays. She was
determined to ensure the individuals were living their best lives, despite their
disability.

Sandi worked hard and loved hard. She was a strong woman, who never let life
get her down. She taught us to be strong in life, to look for the blessings in every
situation, good or bad. Her strength and love in life lives on through those blessed
to have been a part of her life.

Sandi’s life impacted so many lives over the years. She deserves to be celebrated.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on March 19 th , 2022, at the Lincoln
VFW at 1 pm. We invite all to come to share memories and stories
