Arrangements provided bSharon Anne (Lund) Dalisay, 76, of Normal, IL, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2023. She was born in Steubenville, OH. She was the office manager of her husband’s medical practice in Hamilton, IL before they retired in 2007 to fulfill their dream of traveling the world. They were fortunate enough to visit over 50 countries together in the 50 years they were married.

She is survived by her sister, Susan (Terry) Rothacker; three children, Brian (Tara), Julie (Saad) Elzanati, and Jessica (Drew) Griffin; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Senen R. Dalisay; parents, John & Virginia Lund; and sister Linda (Denis) Cich. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the University of Illinois Foundation for the “Dr. Senen R. Dalisay Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund – 11774955”, which has been rewarding scholarships for early cancer detection research since 2018.
