Sharon Kay Miller, 79, of Decatur, IL, passed away on June 18, 2023. She was born in McLeansboro, IL on October 31, 1943, to the late Robert Louis Waugh and Maxine Joyce Waugh. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was survived by her husband Jerry Miller, her children Kimberly Boaz, Tanya Hart (Brett), Jerrod Miller, Jeremy Miller (Michelle), and Joshua Miller (Kristi), 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sherry Miller, her brother Bud Waugh, and her sister Kathie Prindle.

Sharon was a creative and generous woman who had a passion for helping others. She was a dog and animal lover, loved to decorate, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed history and loved the color pink. Sharon was also known for her beautiful smile and her love for flowers. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature.

Sharon attended Dahlgren Grade School and Dahlgren High School in Illinois. She worked as a manager at the Holiday Inn in Decatur and was a dedicated homemaker.

Sharon worshipped in the Christian Faith. She loved interior design, reading, sewing, shopping, and gardening.
