Hey “The Sheila” as I jokingly called you. I was saddened to hear you passed, but glad to know you are free and laughing. You welcomed me into your home with open arms for Holidays and other times, and I always enjoyed you. I genuinely felt like you enjoyed me too, and that was a good feeling. I love how down to Earth you were and your sense of humor. I felt right at home with you and your family and I am ever grateful for that. I’ve been thinking a lot about you lately and wanted you to know that: I know you do. Until we meet again my friend. Love you, Samantha Hill

Sheila was one of the hardest working women that I know! Funny, smart, and just caring…a true gem. She made working in the business office fun - I even had a cactus that I named Sheila Buckles Jr 🙂 Prayers of comfort to her family…truly one of the good ones <3

I have known Sheila since grade school. We went to Blue Mound. What a great and funny person. We lost track of each other until about 20 years ago when she worked at DMH business office and I worked for Cancer Care Specialists. We got to reconnect. I am so glad we got to see each other again. Sheila wrote our Senior year letter, which is in our yearbook. Great memories of our school years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I have known Sheila for 20+ years. I know she is at peace now. It has been a pleasure knowing her and the family. I’m sure her loss hurts, but the many memories will be forever. Thoughts and prayers for the whole family ❤️

Sheila and I worked together for almost 20 years, when I started in the Business Office at DMH when I was 17. She treated me like I was one of her kids and spent so much of her time giving me loving advice. She was kind and loyal and loved deeply. Sheila could turn a bad day into a good one with one of her jokes and a grin on her face. It was never a dull day in the office with Sheila around. Sheila had a heart of gold and truly cared about others and would give the shirt off her back, even if it was her last shirt. I will really miss Sheila. She still checked up on me and cared so much about others before she cared about herself. I am grateful that I was blessed enough to know her. I pray that she is at peace! Praying for you John, Matt, Paul, and Sammi, and the rest of the Buckles family.

Sheila and I have worked together almost 20 years. Sheila loved to shop Shein and Amazon she would send me pictures. Whenever she text 5 more would come right after because she always forgot to tell me something. I will definitely miss those long texts. RIH! You are at peace now.
