Stanley R Etchison, 71, of Mt. Pulaski, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Decatur surrounded by his loving family.  Stanley was born April 23, 1952 in Decatur, IL, son of Carl F and Mabel (Jones) Etchison.  Husband to Kim Adams Comstock, and a  graduate of Niantic High School, and Eastern Illinois University.  He became a licensed electrician, a RR Engineer and Diesel Mechanic throughout his professional career.  In his spare time he loved Trains, motorcycles, cars and music.

He is survived by his daughter, Ellen Sommer of Kingston, TN, four grandsons; Evan Etchison of Des Moines, IA, Corin Etchison, Elisha Sommer, and Samuel Sommer of Kingston, TN, two granddaughters; Faith Sommer, Lilyana Sommer both of Kingston, TN, son-in-law; Shawn Sommer of Kingston, TN, Sister; Patsy (Jon) Gunnels of Indiana, Brother; John (Rosey) Etchison of North Dakota.
