Susan was born October 8, 1961, and lost her battle with cancer on January 17, 2025. She passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband of 36 years, Bill, at her side.

She is also survived by her brother Lynn Johnson and his wife Charleen, sister Karen Shoup, and many nieces, nephews and cousins and their families.

She was retired from the Farm Service Agency and loved to walk on the nearby trail and read the many good books she found at the library to occupy a lot of her time. She will be dearly missed by many, including her loving cats.

There will be no funeral service, but something will be organized later in the year to commemorate her life.
