Susan Schaffer Kailer passed away peacefully on June 11 th , 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Susan was proceeded in death by her Mother: Phyllis Holmes Schaffer Father: Donald Leo Schaffer Brother: Jeff Schaffer.

She is survived by Thomas Kailer husband. One brother Steven Schaffer, 4 Children: Chase (Naira) Kailer Forsyth IL, Whitney (Andrew) Demkovich Normal, IL, Casey (Sarina) Kailer Dyer, IN, Christopher (Ashlee) Kailer Dyer IN. Proud grandmother of seven Grandchildren: Peyton, Brielle, Kenna, Kenzie, Aviana, Mila and Benjamin.

Susan was the ultimate neighborhood mom with a yard full of children on most summer days. She never missed a game or presentation of her kids. She especially liked playing games with her many grandchildren. In short she was a bright light in the lives of all people who met her.
Always laughing and being positive.

Family services and Celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers Susan hoped for Donations to be sent to the American cancer society
