Tanner will be loved and missed by many.

Tanner is survived by his mother and stepfather Christina and John Hill of Decatur, his father Bradley Murphy of Decatur, his son Liam Scott Murphy and his mother Kailey Williams of Pana, his grandparents Gaylon and Carmen Murphy of Decatur, Aunt Jackie Franzen of Decatur, Uncles Phil Murphy of Decatur and Jimmy Williams of Pennsylvania, cousins Tre, Egan, Alek and Lily of Decatur, Great-Grandmother Lois Bates of El Paso, Texas and special friend Ashley Ryan.

May God bless his soul and may he dwell in the house of the Lord for eternity.

A special thank you to the people at OSF in Bloomington and Arcadia Home in Bloomington for the care they gave Tanner. Another special thank you to Central Cremation Center.

Celebrate Tanner's life with a short message, photo or video!

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Tanner. He was such a huge presence, as tall as he was and with a larger than life personality! I know we missed him already at my house, and so many of our mutual friends and acquaintances have been so saddened to learn of his passing. My hope is that he is remembered for his practical jokes and that silly laugh. Peace and rest now for you, dear friend. You are already very missed by so many.

May you rest in the sweetest peace Tanner. I pray that god is holding you in the palm of his hands. My Prayers go out for your son and daughter. I am so fortunate yo have been able to take care of you while you were with us in Bloomington. Gonna miss you my friend. ❤️
