Thomas Benjamin Baker was born at home in Oakley Township on November 18, 1939 to the parents of Jesse Dewey Baker and Lucille Warmoth.

He was the last surviving son of fourteen children. His father, mother, two sisters, and six brothers proceeded him in death. Surviving sisters are Lucille Warnhoff, JoAnn Kestner, Betty Valentine, Ola Ilene Johnston, and Mary Valentine. He leavers behind Nancy Baker and daughters, Tammy Morgan and Pearl Baker. Granddaughters, LauraBeth Morgan, Jeska Hall and Katrina Hall. Grandson, Luke Morgan and many nieces and nephews.

He worked on the farm for many years and retired from Wagner Castings after working there for 35 years. He enjoyed going to auctions and junking out scrap metals. He also enjoyed fishing and taking his dog, Buddy, and granddaughter Katrina for walks down by the lake. He was a hard worker and refused to give up working hard up to his last days.

A private send off with the immediate family will be held at a later date.
