Virgie L. Maulden-Walston 62, of Decatur, IL , After her year long hard fought battle with cancer,
recieved her wings peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday Morning
December 11, 2022 around 6am..

Virgie was born July 1, 1960 in Montgomery, Al. Daughter to Raymond H. Maulden Jr and Rose Rollinger- Crane
and was the sister to 6 brothers.
She was raised in Decatur, IL and Graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 1979.
While spending most of her Working career in Gas Stations, She Happily retired from Casey’s General Store after
20+ yrs of service. Following retirement she cared for her mother and step father and embraced being a full time grandmother.
While being a dedicated Alabama Crimson Tide, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Reds Fan and a true Elvis Lover.
Virgie loved to craft and decorate for all the holidays and special occasions. She was always devoted
to her children and grand children and great grand child and was proud to show them off.
Virgie was the glue for her family as she always made sure that they stayed close and celebrated together often.
She loved riding on the back of the Harley and going to church on sunday mornings at the Hillside Bethel MInistries.
Virgie was a beautiful loving soul that loved many and was loved by All.

Virgie is survived by her mother Rose Rollinger-Crane of Decatur, IL, Boyfriend Russell “Tony” McGlade of Decatur, IL
daughter Cara (Bill) England of Sullivan,IL, Son Andrew (Alex) Bork of Babenhausen, Hessen, Germany, Son Tim (Cady) Walston
of LaPlace, IL, and brother Russell (Nancy) Maulden, brother Ray Maulden, brother Gary Maulden, brother Barry ( Jeri Lynn) Maulden,
brother Darrell (Sharon) Maulden and her 10 Grandchildren Taveon, Cheyanna (Shaylan), Josh, Adrian, Austin, Olivia, Jeremiah,
Raeyln, Mia and Ellie, 1 Great Grandchild Amora and several nieces , nephews, Aunts , Uncles
and a ton of cousins.

Virgie was proceeded in death by her Husband Daniel Walston, Father Raymond Maulden Jr, Step father John “Jack” Crane
brother Michael “Laney” Maulden, Brother in law Mark Walston, and Nephew Jason Maulden, Great nephew Landon, Great niece, Piper Yvonne Morehead and her Grandparents…

Services will be held Friday December 16, 2022 at Hillside Bethel Ministries 3575 E. Greenhill Rd. Decatur, IL
A visitation will be From 5pm to 6pm and a short service will start at 6pm with a potluck dinner immediately afterwards
for her Celebration of Life.
