Wayne Edward Walker, Jr.  passed away on May 18, 2023 at the age of 46 in Mt.Zion, Illinois.

Wayne, son of Wayne Edward Walker,Sr and Mary Walker Campbell was born May 11, 1977 in Winchester, Kansas and resided in Tonganoxie, Kansas until the age of 2.

Wayne battled cancer three times in his life. The first time was when he was 6 months old and was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma. In 2020 he was diagnosed with Spindle Cell Melanoma. November, 2022 it was found that the melanoma had metastisized throughout his body and there was no cure.

Wayne graduated from Riverton High School, Riverton, Kansas in 1995. He lived several places in his life, but enjoyed Alameda, California and Pensacola Beach, Florida the most. He had a great passion for photography, art and. music.  He loved animals and all things beautiful that nature had to offer including sunrises, sunsets and clouds during thunderstorms .

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Wayne,Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mary (husband, Dan) Campbell, two loving and very giving sisters, Ann Walker Reyna and Jennifer Walker,(husband Bryan) Van Dyke, a caring brother, Wayne E.(wife Di)Scott, 4 nieces, Katelyn and Emily Van Dyke, and Adriana and Joselyn Reyna. Wayne had the most incredible friends a person could ever hope for.

The family would like to thank Dr. Velasco and everyone at the Cancer Center in Decatur, Illinois for the care you gave Wayne during his battle. Also, the family appreciates the wonderful kindness and care that the nurses with hospice provided.

Wayne is under the care of Central Cremation Center in Forsyth, Illinois. Plans are being made for a celebration of life that will be announced at a later time.
