Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I did not know that Dub had passed away until I saw the sale posted of his home that he shared with his wife Mary. Although it made me sad, I reflected on how glorious his life is in Heaven. I am sure that he has connected with Harry and Mattie Covey, my parents. Dub had so many talents and helped my dad so much when he hired him to work in his carpentry company. Dub always told me how much his children enjoyed the times I babysat for them. I wondered what had changed in the Parker family's life when I did not receive their annual Christmas card. Now I realize the reason. Praise God for giving Dub to his family and all who knew him. Some day I will meet him again in Heaven and enjoy his southern accent and friendly smile. I hope that Mary and the children see this post. All of you were very special friends in the Covey family. Karen Covey Rivera

I am deeply saddened to hear of Dub's passing. Growing up, Dub was like a second father to me. I cherish the memories of our families get togethers and my friendship with Tom, Bonnie and Lori. For some strange reason, Tom and I were always getting in trouble. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family tonight. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen
