Elsie was a wonderful neighbor. I will always remember her sitting in her garage everyday waiting for her grandsons to come home from school. And I have a wonderful memory of sharing my eclipse glasses with her earlier this year so she could view it. I so enjoyed that moment! Hugs to the entire family.

When I think of Aunt Elsie, I can hear her wonderful laugh., see her smile and feel the great hugs she would give me when she saw me. She had such a wonderful welcoming spirit and the world seems a little less bright knowing she’s no longer here. Praying for all who loved her especially her family. Love, The Philkill Family

My dear Aunt Elsie, may the Lord bless you and keep you. I have very fond memories of visiting your house in Adena as a child (usually to come play with Eric), you and Uncle Dick were always so welcoming! Thanks for always being such a great big sister to my Dad (he has many great big sisters!). May the Lord be with the Black family during these diffcult times, but let them also find comfort knowing that Elsie is now with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. Blessed be to God. With love from your nephew and the Roscoe family, Love: Steven, Tricia, Brianna, Sophia, and my stepson Dylan

Elsie, my sister and my friend, I miss her very much. Hard to believe she won't be calling anymore to chit chat as she would say, but I take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Jeanie (Roscoe) Golladay

I will miss my sister very much. She loved all of her family including many nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy in the past years were her two grandsons. She was a faithful Cleveland Browns fan, win or lose. Of course, the OSU Buckeyes were top on her list. She enjoyed bird watching and pretty flowers. We shared many wonderful times I will always treasure. ❤️ I have comfort knowing she is with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Rose (Roscoe) Childers
