FAMILY --- What a shock to read of John's passing. He was always there for anyone who needed assistance. He worked with my sister at MNB years ago and later my daughter worked with him at Tim Dowd's Real Estate & Development Office. He was a great guy and a Good one too. He had a Heart as big as all outdoors. Rest in Peace, John. Grief is the Price We Pay For Love. M. Sue Hale, Decatur, IL.

So many memories of John both in football and baseball. After losing to Taylorville in football our senior year he was probably the most upset of anyone on the team. John had a healthy sense of pride and was a tenacious competitor. He once threw out a hitter at first base from right field in a game at Litchfield, saving a no-hitter by the Pana pitcher. John will missed by so many. Blessings to his family.

John will be missed by many. The class of 64 will miss their leader.
